My new website, charm-beads.net was launched on Monday 29 June 2009. My handmade lampwork charm beads designed to fit Pandora, Trollbeads, Chamilia & Biagi style European bracelets are now available at charm-beads.net as well as my Etsy store.

ABOUT ME - REBECCA CORDINGLEY - LAMPWORK BEAD MAKER

My name is Rebecca Cordingley. I have been lampworking since late 2006 and work out of my home studio in Adelaide, South Australia. I make and sell Pandora, Troll & Biagi style sterling silver core beads, bead sets, focal beads, vessels and jewellery.

I am a member of the Down Under Street Team (DUST), a group of Australian artisans who sell their products on Etsy.

I currently use both a Mini CC torch and a GTT Cricket with one 5lpm oxygen concentrator. I make my beads primarily from 104COE glass (Effetre/Moretti, Vetrofond, Double Helix and Lauscha), although I occasionally also use Reichenbach and Gaffer.

My beads are annealed in a digitally-controlled kiln for strength and durability.

INTERESTS

My interests include politics (both Australian and international), human rights, social justice, photography, music and film. I hold a Bachelor of International Studies (Politics and International Relations) from Flinders University, South Australia, and a Graduate Diploma in Social Health from the University of Melbourne.
